  Proteose Peptone, Certified is a culture media product of animal origin (meat), it contains powerful nutrient for the growth of different microorganisms, used also in the production of antibiotics, enzymes and bacterial toxins.

  Yellow to brownish yellow homogenous free flowing powder,having characteristic odour but not putrescent

  Freely soluble in distilled/purified water, insoluble in alcohol.

  1% w/v aqueous solution remains clear without haziness after autoclaving at 15 lbs pressure (121ºC) for 15 minutes.
